Taylor Swift's squad will never run out of talented stars and they are willing to show their support to the singer anytime she needs them. In fact, three members of the squad have expressed interest in starring in a proposed movie based on the singer's track, "The Last Great American Dynasty," from the Folklore album.

The supposed film was originally conceived by Swift's fan, named "Joshlore." In his tweet, the fan wrote Blake Lively could play the role of the late socialite Rebekah Harkness, while Ryan Reynolds could portray Rebekah's husband, Bill. Modern Family alum Jesse Tyler Ferguson, on the other hand, could be the nosy neighbor of Rebekah.

As soon as Swift saw the fan's proposed casting, she can't help but be proud of it. Taylor tweeted a line from "The Last Great American Dynasty" and added she loves the idea of making it into a movie, hinting at a possible film project in the future.

Ferguson retweeted the movie concept of Taylor's fan and said he is available to play the role. Lively, on the other hand, referred to "The Last Great American Dynasty" song lyrics by joking that she painted her husband "key lime green." As for Reynolds, he mentioned the heart attack his potential character would suffer.

Taylor has been close friends with Ryan and Blake since 2015. She even mentioned the names of the couple's children in her song, "Betty," also from the Folklore album.

Swift is also a long-time pal to Ferguson. He appeared in the music video of Taylor's "You Need to Calm Down." In return, Swift performed an acoustic version of "Shake It Off" alongside Ferguson at the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Inn riots in Manhattan last year.

Taylor Swift co-wrote "The Last Great American Dynasty" with Aaron Dessner. It was based on the life of Rebekah Harkness, who once owned Taylor's mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Taylor first learned about Rebekah after she bought the so-called "Holiday House" for $17 million in 2013.

In her song, the 10-time Grammy winner mentioned that the previous owner of her house used to fill her pool with vintage champagne and also dyed her neighbor's cat green. Rebekah succumbed to cancer in 1982 at age 67, while Bill died in 1954 due to a heart attack.

Taylor also compared herself to Rebekah, particularly on how the residents of Rhodes Island received her arrival in Watch Hill. The "Cardigan" singer mentioned she is the "loudest woman" the town has ever seen since Rebekah Harkness.

Meanwhile, Swifties expressed their excitement about "The Last Great American Dynasty" getting a possible movie adaptation. Taylor's fans were also satisfied with the casting suggestion. Some also mentioned that Swift could helm the project as she already has experience directing, having won the Best Director award at the 2020 MTV Video Music Awards.
