Staples and Amazon have slashed the price of Apple AirPods Pro, which both stores are now selling at $50 less than its original price.

Apple fans have much more to look forward to than just the Sept. 15 "Time Flies" event of the Cupertino-based tech giant as some companies appear to cash in on the annual occasion. Reports say that both Staples and Amazon slashed $50 off the price of Apple AirPods Pro, from the usual $249.00 to only $199.00.

AirPods, which allow users to listen to audio from their iPhones or Bluetooth device without messy wires, entered the market in December of 2016. In March 2019, Apple launched the second-generation AirPods that included the "Hey Siri" support. It came in two versions, one that has a normal Charging Case and another one that featured a Wireless Charging Case. In October of the same year, the Cupertino-based tech company introduced the latest version, dubbed as the AirPods Pro. The latest version of the nifty earpieces featured active noise cancellation and a new in-ear design. The new AirPods Pro is also IPX4 water and sweat resistant. According to industry observers, the price offered by both Staples and Amazon is among the best prices ever tracked for a new pair of Apple AirPods Pro.

Elsewhere, the price of the new AirPods Pro is still pretty much the same, though a bit cheaper than the original price at Staples and Amazon. BestBuy, which apparently did not join Staples and Amazon at slashing the prices of AirPods Pro, still offers them for $234.99 while you can also get it from Walmart at $234.

At Staples, you can opt to have the AirPods Pro delivered to your location or pick them up in stores. Staples offer free shipping for AirPods Pro with an expected delivery date of Sept. 16, Wednesday. At Amazon, you can expect delivery of the AirPods Pro in about two days, meaning you may receive the AirPods you ordered on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

In the case of Staples, their $50 discount is set to end on Saturday, Sept. 19, or while their current stocks of AirPods Pros last. With the huge discount, the store will likely run out of supplies before Saturday. Amazon, on the other hand, did not mention any set end date for their discounted price. There are speculations thought that Amazon might match the low price up until Staples' stock is completely depleted.

Aside from the AirPods Pro, Staples also offers a $30 discount for Apple's AirPods with Charging Case, offering it for $129.00, which is down from its previous price of $159.00. Amazon offers the same price for the same item.
