You can use an Apple Card to purchase the new Apple Watch Series 6 and spread out the payments in 24 months.

Apple's September "Time Flies" event was full of announcements about new products and services offered by the Cupertino-based tech giant. Apple executives also announced that beginning that day; Apple fans can order some of the products, such as the Apple Watch Series 6 and iPad Air 4, as well as Apple One subscription bundles. The possibility of buying the new products using an Apple Card and paying in installments was mentioned by Apple's COO, Jeff Williams, though he did not expound further on the topic.

While many Apple fans perhaps immediately submitted their orders online, some only looked with longing at some of the products as they do not have enough funds for the products yet. Fortunately, Apple discreetly added the new Apple Watch to the list of eligible products under the Apple Card interest-free financing program, which allows customers to purchase some Apple products and spread out the payments in 24 months.

According to Apple, the Apple Card financing program allows you to buy selected Apple products and pay in installments up to 24 months. When you use the Apple Card to buy an Apple Watch Series 6, for instance, it also qualifies you for 3% daily cashback on your purchase all the time. You can also avail of an interest-free installment plan when shopping at Apple using the Apple Card.

On Tuesday's "Time Flies" event, Williams presented the new Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE models and detailed their features and capabilities. It was also during this time that he mentioned the possibility of buying the new smartwatch using an Apple Card. "In addition, we're announcing Apple Card financing for Apple Watch so customers can easily pay across 24 monthly payments," Williams said.

At the moment, Apple Card financing for Apple Watch appears as a blue banner ad on the online storefront of the Cupertino-based tech giant. Users who click on the link will see a pop-up window showing more information about the Apple Card financing program, including the option to pay up to 24 months in installment for the selected products you bought. The pop-up window also displays the benefits you gain as a customer when you sign up for an Apple Card.

Aside from the 0% monthly Annual Percentage Rate (APR) for Apple Watch Series 6 purchases, cardholders avail of the 3% Daily Cashback when buying through the online store of Apple, the notice read. The Apple Card financing program was launched in 2019 alongside the release of the iPhone 11. While the program did offer users the option to pay in installments up to 24 months, it was limited to iPhone purchases. In June of this year, Apple expanded its eligibility list to include the iPad and Mac.
