An alleged actual image of Apple's first-ever over-ear headphone dubbed as AirPods Studio Sport recently surfaced online. A couple of industry insiders shared leaked images of the rumored Apple AirPods Studio. One offered the device's rendering while the other shared the image and video of the premium headphone's Sport version.

The latest image believed to be the first actual photo of the AirPods Studio Sport came from Twitter user Fudge. The picture shows the HomePod mesh at the end, along with huge ear cups. While the image could be another prototype, audiophiles and music enthusiasts would definitely be happy if those massive ear cups would be available when the product launches, considering the level of comfort and listening experience it could give to users.

The other image of the AirPods Studio came from industry insider Jon Prosser. According to the tipster, it is the latest rendering of the upcoming over-ear headphone from Apple. The rumored AirPods Studio would reportedly feature high-quality leather and metal, Prosser said.

It would also sport magnetic ear cups and a USB-C port. While the AirPods Studio would drop the headphone jack, it would reportedly feature reversible R/L ear detection. Prosser claimed that they are making the renders to protect their source. Bloomberg previously reported that the Cupertino company is working on at least a couple of variants of the AirPods Studio.

One variant reportedly sports leather-like fabrics while the fitness-focused variety utilizes lighter, breathable fabrics with perforations. Fudge and Prosser's information seemingly aligns with Bloomberg's previous report. Several features of the AirPods Studio were previously reported by 9to5mac as well.

According to the site, the upcoming over-ear headphone would feature head and neck detection. The Neck Detection feature allows users to keep the headphone turned on while the music is on pause. In other words, the AirPods Studio can detect if it is being placed in the user's head or neck to play or pause the music.

The site also discovered pieces of evidence pointing to the AirPods Studio on the iOS 14 Beta code. This includes assets revealing that the headphone is available in a couple of color options. In terms of its price, whispers online claim that it could retail at $349.

At the time of this publication, it is unclear if the Cupertino company would release the AirPods Studio to the public. Speculations have it that it could arrive before 2020 ends.
