Ivanka Trump and her siblings officially welcomed Melania Trump as their new stepmother in 2005. The former model married Donald Trump in a lavish ceremony during that year.

While it remains unclear as to how the relationship between the U.S. President's kids and the First Lady goes, several speculations have since emerged, especially after their arrival inside the White House. The majority of these speculations continue to claim that there is an apparent tension between Ivanka and Melania.

Recently, though, a body language and parenting expert had wider thoughts about the two female Trumps' ties with each other. Although at times they appear to have a mother-daughter relationship, there were cases when they manifested "rivalry," according to the Daily Express.

Speaking to the publication, Judi James claimed that Melania and Ivanka Trump appear to have the same "values." These mainly include their love for "perfect aesthetics," adding that they both emphasize "immaculate presentation" and "visual beauty."

As a parenting expert, she added that sometimes, the First Daughter likely "mimics" the First Lady, which could show a "daughter's admiration" for a mother. She noted that they have the same standing and sitting positions, as well as the same facial expressions. However, she countered that the "Sphinx-like expressions" that they both share could also mean a "rivalry" between Melania and Ivanka.

James, then, referenced what happened between the two women at the recent Republican National Convention. She recalled how Melania Trump had a "lightning smile" or a "flash smile" when Ivanka Trump went to the stage.

Upon the First Daughter's entrance, the First Lady gave her big, "maternal smile" toward her stepdaughter. However, the public saw how her facial expression changed when Ivanka passed her.

The expert explained that this might be a sign of "unmasked dislike." She said that this kind of smile is an "open admission of dislike," which everyone knows.

But, in her analysis, she argued that Donald Trump's wife tends to be a frequent user of the "lightning smile." She reasoned that Melania's "muscle drop" and "nervousness" might be the cause.

While Judi James has other views about the smile Melania Trump gave to Ivanka Trump, netizens immediately concluded that this has proven how much the First Lady dislikes her stepdaughter. Business Insider reported that many individuals made several "memes" and puns from the clip following the event.

Reports, also, referenced Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's claims in her new material, Melania and Me, which details the tension-filled relationship of the two female Trumps.
