It seems like people haven't been doing too much during 2020 due to COVID-19. However, MONSTA X have been very busy since February and it looks like the pandemic isn't slowing down their constant promotions.

The idol group has just celebrated their fandom's birthday by offering some awesome surprises for Monbebe online. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. also went live for Monbebe Day and revealed they have worked on new magazine features and TV show appearances ahead of their comeback in November.

MONSTA X had previously announced that there are special events in place to celebrate Monbebe Day as part of the anniversary when the idol group announced the name of their fandom. The event, which also celebrates the Chuseok holiday or Autumnal Equinox, would kickstart with a fun trivia game that was made available on the official MONSTA X fancafe.

Kihyun also treated fans by sharing some never-before-seen photos that were taken during their holiday show MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation. The main singer posted the images on fancafe while sharing a few behind-the-scenes pictures from the group's recently-released photobooks Comma and Xiesta.

At 12 AM KST, MONSTA X took to their official VLive channel to greet their fans for Monbebe Day. During their broadcast, the members revealed a special cake for their fandom and answered several questions.

The VLive broadcast was a fun time for MONSTA X, who confirmed that Shownu and Joohoney had a special photoshoot for a magazine. It was also revealed that Hyungwon and I.M. had their own photoshoot for a different magazine while Kihyun and Joohoney will each have features in separate publications.

One of the exciting updates dropped during the Monbebe Day VLive was that Joohoney will be filming a music video on September 26. Interestingly, it was teased that there will be more than one MVs being filmed.

The perpetually busy Mihyuk also confirmed that he had shot a TV program with Shownu in celebration of Chuseok Day. With that in mind, MONSTA X continue to be busy even when they are not preparing for their comeback in November.

MONSTA X is currently working on a new album that is expected to be released in late October or early November. Additionally, Joohoney is set to drop his solo album before the end of the year. In the meantime, their fans are also busy enjoying all the great surprises the group has dropped for Monbebe Day.
