Following the debate, the wives of the presidential hopefuls went on stage to be with their husbands. As Jill Biden rushed to hug and kiss the former Vice President of the United States, the incumbent First Lady just stood beside her husband and smiled.
At one point, Trump even looked at the former Second Couple as they shared their moment before the public. Snaps of the moment immediately went viral, and have since sparked discussions on social media, according to the Daily Express.
Several individuals threw "humiliating" jibes at Melania Trump. One netizen even asked what was happening with the Trump couple on stage.
Other Twitter users seemingly conceded that the moment between the First Couple was "bizarre." A Biden supporter said that the U.S. President and the First Lady "barely touch."
Another netizen even took a swipe at Melania and Donald Trump, stating that their relationship appears to be a "business deal pat on the back." One, also, asserted that the public could no longer wait for "true love" to return inside the White House.
The criticisms and jokes about Donald and Melania Trump have continued to emerge amid the confirmation about their COVID-19 contraction. Following the U.S. President's confirmation of Hope Hicks' virus infection after their travels across the country, the First Couple made another announcement on social media stating that they tested positive for coronavirus.

Donald Trump revealed on his personal account that they will begin their quarantine and recovery as soon as possible. He, also, emphasized that they will get through it, "together."
As for the First Lady, she assured her followers on the same platform that they are "feeling good." She continued that she has already "postponed" all of her engagements in the next few weeks.
Several netizens shared their thoughts on the same threads immediately after reading the Donald and Melania Trump's tweets. While many individuals wished them well and fast recovery, several others seemingly continued the mockery toward the couple.
"I really don't care, do you?," Robin DesCamp said on her post, which appears to be a jibe at the First Lady because of her infamous jacket that features the same phrase. "INJECT BLEACH AND WAIT FOR APRIL WHEN IT WILL GO AWAY," Kristina Wong said, which echoed Donald Trump's previous approach to the deadly coronavirus.
