Fans are now talking about Black Clover Season 4 after some assumptions that the much-loved anime series may be canceled. As Season 3 is still ongoing, will the show get a renewal for a fourth season?
Black Cover is one of the biggest three animes, along with One Piece and Boruto, today. With the huge support it gets from fans, Shonen Jump will surely give its new season the green light.
It is one of the famous animes people watch on streaming sites, like Crunchyroll, Hulu, and FUNimation Now, which features the Black Clover English version. With the big revenue it earns, it is not far that Black Clover Season 4 is coming.
However, HITC noted the show's producers, Pierrot or TXN, have yet to confirm either the renewal or cancellation. Weekly Shonen Jump revealed a new original story would be out, introducing two new characters, Dazuu Tayak and Bow Nokde.
But despite the coming of a fresh storyline, there are still rumors and "leaks" that a new season may be canceled. The Black Clover's production has been plagued with a lot of assumptions as of late.
Allegedly, some of the staff of Pierrot has been moved to do other projects. But, the studio itself and the series' director Tatsuya Yoshihara have yet to address this issue.
There are also claims that there are issues about creative differences between the manga and anime creators. Some of the episodes do not directly adapt the manga's storyline due to the fears that it may quickly catch up to the original plotline.
Yūki Tabata is also said to be "upset" with the too much creative freedom the anime is taking. Famed YouTuber Kanjic earlier revealed the manga creator didn't like how some of this storyline had also been adapted on TV.
To add fuel to the fire, online leaker, Spy, shared a cryptic post on Twitter, saying fans only have 2020 to enjoy Black Clover. He seems to allude this will be the last time viewers can watch the anime series.
Anyhow, TeCake noted the third season's renewal didn't come until before the second season ended. So, the same might be done for Black Clover Season 4.
If this happens, new episodes may be out in the fall of 2020, if not the winter of 2021. But, fans shall also consider the source material.
The probability of having Black Clover Season 4 heavily relies on "Tabata's Manga Success Pace" and the number of Pierrot's filler contents. So, viewers shall only take this assumption with a grain of salt until a confirmation is announced.
