Jimin’s birthday is fast approaching, and ARMYs all around the globe are making sure to make his birth month as special as possible. There were a lot of projects set for the BTS star’s birthday, and one of them is about helping mother nature.

These birthday projects dedicated to the BTS boys range from simple to extravagant. Some fandom sites gather together to celebrate RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook’s special day, and others would go as big as spending a lot of money to mark their birthday.

As for Jimin’s birthday, ARMYs have set Jimin-theme bus, donations on particular causes, road banner, large scale advertisements, and more. One project is from an Indonesian ARMY, who organized fundraising to plant and maintain mangroves in Bedono Village, Kabupaten Demak, Central Java in commemoration of Jimin’s birthday.

Last month, Asabell Audida (@asabelliaa) shared on the website www.https://lindungihutan.com that she is organizing a fundraising project called “1000 Trees for BTS Jimin (Jimin’s Birthday Project).”

The organizer explained that it is very important to plant more trees in the areas as many families were affected because of the rising seawater levels.

“The donations collected will be used for planting and maintaining mangroves in Bedono Village, Kabupaten Demak, Central Java… Due to the severe abrasions, more than 250 families were moved from the village,” Asabell Audida wrote in the description box.

After the tree-planting project reached its deadline, the organizer managed to collect 8,735 trees with the participation of Indonesian ARMYs. Asabell Audida’s goal was only 7,000 trees, but the ARMY power exceeded all expectations.

BTS is all about giving back, and ARMYs have learned this trait from the members. On July 29, Jimin’s father presented KRW 100 million (USD 85,000) to the South Jeolla Office of Education on behalf of his son. The BTS star’s donation is meant to school students in South Jeolla Province, Korea.

While the donation was made a month before the revelation, the Office of Education, recently, made the good deed public. The chairman of the Jeonnam Future Education Foundation, Jang Seok Woong, told the press that Jimin’s donation will be used carefully to convey the BTS star’s good influence on the students.

The South Jeolla Office of Education, also, revealed that they plan to add Jimin to the South Jeolla Education Hall of Fame for his generous contribution.
