Meanwhile, “Dynamite” is BTS’s first song to debut at No.1 on Billboard‘s “Hot 100” chart. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook released their latest hit on August 21, and it quickly broke records.

Jimin said in their previous live broadcast that they made “Dynamite” simply to comfort their fans during the coronavirus pandemic, and they were not aiming for anything else other than that. But, what BTS did not know was that their fans have already set goals to make “Dynamite” a huge hit — and it did!

Thanks to ARMYs undying support, “Dynamite” sold a mind-blowing 265,000 digital copies in its first week. The song reigned supreme in the Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for two straight weeks.
