There is little doubt that fans have been excited since it was confirmed last month that SEVENTEEN is currently preparing for their next comeback. Although the comeback date was not revealed immediately, it was suggested that S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino will be releasing a new album in October.
Amazingly, the idol group has finally announced their comeback date soon after their awesome performance at Day 2 of the virtual concert series Super On:Tact 2020.
In September, it was announced that SEVENTEEN is already preparing for another comeback. The news was exciting for fans although Carats were also concerned that the idols were not getting enough rest in between promotions.
After all, the 13-member group had just released a Japanese mini-album 24H and have been promoting the title track throughout the month. In addition to that, SEVENTEEN member Seungkwan had to sit out most of the promotions as he recuperated from an ankle surgery.
Interestingly, SEVENTEEN has no plans of slowing down. S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino have just taken part in Super On:Tact 2020 Day 2 which also featured TXT and IZ*ONE.
During their performance, some of the SEVENTEEN members revealed their new hair colors for the upcoming comeback. For instance, Joshua Hong has silvery white hair while Jeon Wonwoo had reddish burgundy hair and Lee Jihoon showed off his new dark gray look.
SEVENTEEN's performance at Super On:Tact 2020 Day 2 was already an awesome treat for Carats but the idols were only getting started. Soon after wrapping up the concert, the official Big Hit Labels YouTube account released the first teaser for SEVENTEEN's new album.
In the teaser, it was confirmed that the new album will be titled Semicolon and that it would be released in mid-October. Interestingly, the concept for the album appears to show the idols celebrating their youth yet looking elegant and mature.
For now, the track list of Semicolon has not yet been announced. In addition to that, SEVENTEEN has yet to confirm the exact number of songs that will be included in their next comeback or the official title track. However, there is a possibility that more details will be revealed later this week or the week before the album's release.
SEVENTEEN's special album Semicolon will be released on October 19.
