Girls Generation YoonA impressed fans with her baking skills again.
According to a report by All Kpop, the Kpop singer and actress showcased her baking skills on Instagram with a new post last October 4.
In her post, YoonA showed off some freshly baked scones that she just prepared. In her caption, she expressed her happiness over how perfectly the earl grey scones turned out. She even shared the step by step process from mixing the ingredients and forming the scones before she popped them in the oven.
After fans saw the finished product, they inundated her post with positive comments. Some even wished that she would start a YouTube channel devoted to baking.
It can be recalled that YoonA only recently developed a penchant for baking. She first shared about her hobby during a guesting for tvN's On and Off which showcased the typical events in her daily life.
According to YoonA, she first started to learn how to bake after completing the filming for EXIT last year. She said she wanted to spend her time productively so she also started to learn Chinese at the time, Soompi reported.
During the episode, YoonA showed how she prepared cookies to share with the staff who were working for her commercial. She even handed out the goodies personally to inspire a good mood on the set.
Early this year, YoonA received compliments for her baking when she shared snaps of her yummy creations online. For a baking newbie, YoonA was able to bake perfect homemade pizza bread and sausage bread that looked like they deserved a spot on a bakery shelf.
Meanwhile, YoonA was cast for her next drama Hush, which centers on the world of journalists. The Girls Generation member will take on the role of a journalism intern named Lee Ji Soo, who will be working closely with her mentor. Hwang Jung Min has been confirmed to play the lead male role for the drama.
YoonA has been concentrating on her acting career for a while now, delivering hit after hit because of her natural acting ability and charisma. She was recently included in SCMP's list of Kpop artists who have successfully transitioned as top actresses. The article cited her interview with Ray Li Fashion magazine where she shared how she picked her roles. YoonA said that she is always on the lookout for roles that will help her develop new skills in the craft.
