Frozen 3 has yet to receive a green light, but the assumption about the possible third movie installment is rampant. With the success of Frozen 2, it is not far that Disney will create another film about Elsa and Anna.
The movie sequel earned a whopping $1.45 billion at the box office worldwide. It also became the second-highest-grossing animated film in history.
According to Devdiscourse, Disney has yet to discuss Frozen 3. Frozen 2's director of the story, Marc Smith, revealed they had yet to talk about the making of a new movie.
He didn't even confirm if a new film installment is in the cards. Smith explained the second movie is still etched in everyone's mind and it is too early to even think about what will possibly happen next.
Anyhow, Disney, reportedly, has a huge responsibility to make Frozen 3 appropriate for the younger generation. This may explore the possibility if it's Elsa's real intent to help Elisa make her brother return to normal or if the latter will become the Queen's dark reflection.
But, wherever Disney takes the next movie, the clash between the two may add an "epic sense of magnitude" to the Frozen trilogy. Also, Frozen 3 is expected to continue where the previous film left off, with Elsa living in the North and Anna ruling Arendelle.
TeCake added Elsa might leave the magical forest and get Anna out of Arrendelle. Elsa, too, might find the love of her life here, while Anna and Kristoff might finally get married. Sources revealed the co-director of the movie said to "never say never" when it came to the movie's possible plotlines.
If ever Frozen 3 will push through, fans may wait a little longer before they can finally see Elsa and the rest of the gang back to the big screen. The first and second movies have a six-year gap to give it a unique storyline, incredible graphics, and everything in between.
The second movie, reportedly, gave the actors a hard time with the dubbing process due to the changes they had to make. Kristen Bell, the voice behind Anna, confessed it was hard to keep up the work.
The staff and crew took a lot of time to build the second movie alone. So, making Frozen 3 might take much longer.
Anyhow, it is still assumed Frozen 3 may be out in 2023, four years after the second movie's release. But, fans shall only take this assumption with a grain of salt as Disney has to confirm or announce anything.
