"Animal Crossing: New Horizons" is a cute and wholesome game, but players can certainly create anything they like in their personal islands. One player was possibly inspired by the horror title "Silent Hill" and transformed his space into a horror-themed location. Meanwhile, some details of the life-simulation game's November update were recently leaked online.

Celebrating Halloween Early

One "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" player is seemingly celebrating Halloween earlier than others based on the current look of his island. On Reddit, a screenshot from hanoodyACNH was shared on the game's subreddit. The image showcased a side by side comparison of the movie poster of the hit horror series "Silent Hill."

According to the post, "Animal Crossing: New Horizons," players were able to pull this "Silent Hill" look by using in-game assets and a little photo manipulation. Other players of the hit life simulation game asked the creator to upload the town as a Dream Island so others could also explore it. The eerie look and feel of the town when it was saved could very well coincide with the weather conditions at Dream Islands.

This "Silent Hill" island on "Anima Crossing: New Horizons" is by far one of the closets representations of the horror series in the hit game with the creator not using extensive modding tools. It also reflects that fans are still interested in "Silent Hill" years after its last major release.
