Following the official reveal of the AMD Ryzen 5000 series, chipmaker AMD teased Big Navi's performance, suggesting that the upcoming Radeon RX 6000 series could deliver higher gaming performance than the hard to find Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080.

AMD CEO, Dr. Lisa Su, did not only offered to fans the massive triple-slot Big Navi, but she also revealed several benchmarks of the upcoming graphics card series running at the highest possible settings with 4K resolution. AMD showcased three titles at the said event, namely "Borderlands 3," "Gears of War 5," and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare." based on the presentation, the AMD Big Navi is capable of delivering buttery smooth 60+ FPS.

The chipmaker used its own AMD Ryzen 5000 Desktop CPUs to run the benchmarks. It also offered gamers a better solution for upcoming cutting-edge games arriving in the future through its GPUs and CPUs. It is worth mentioning, however, that AMD did not explicitly mention which Radeon RX 6000 series graphics card was used in the benchmark tests.

Industry watchers and insiders believe that it is probably the AMD Big Navi or the flagship Radeon RX 6900 XT GPU. Some claim that the company's CEO hinted about this when she showed off the RTX 6000 series on stage, saying that the GPU is now officially called Big Navi and thanking those who nicknamed the GPU for the company. The CEO noted that "It is absolutely gorgeous, and by far the most powerful gaming GPU we have ever built."

After hinting about the Big Navi, it would be strange for the company to use a lesser AMD graphics card. The chipmaker is also showing off its high-end CPU and it would be weird to pair it with a mid-range graphics card, assuming that it wants to lure consumers into buying its products by offering the very best results.

The presentation and the benchmarks that the chipmaker showed off simply underlined that the combination of Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards and Ryzen 9 5900X could handle the most graphically demanding PC games at their optimum graphic settings at 4K or 3840 x 2160 resolution. The upcoming Big Navi GPU series is reportedly based on AMD's Navi 21.

As per Wccftech, the performance looks comparatively close to that of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card. Currently, Nvidia is facing shortages with the graphics card and its CEO confirmed that the problem could last until 2021. If AMD's Big Navi could be at par with the GeForce RTX 3080, AMD could gain the upper hand in terms of price and more supplies available. If AMD could offer the Big Navi at $499 or $599, then consumers could get a killer 4K GPU in their hands.
