ARMYs love the BT21 characters just as much as they love BTS. Every time fans see RMs’s Koya, Jin’s RJ, Suga’s Shooky, J-Hope’s Mang, Jimin’s Chimmy, V’s Tata, and Jungkook’s Cooky, they instantly burst into UwUs.
It’s safe to say that every time the BT21 characters appear, ARMYs are happy about it — or so it seems. Even though the fans love and support BTS and BT21, RM’s Koya has been making it hard for them to like him.
Despite his cute appearance, fans now believe that Koya is evil deep down inside. In fact, ARMYs are now proclaiming him as the fandom’s “mortal enemy.”
So, what did the adorable and harmless character do to receive such hate from the very supportive ARMYs? The answer is actually quite simple yet very understandable.
Showing some skin in the K-pop world is not illegal. In fact, most idols, both male and female, wear very revealing clothes on stage. But, when they’re in public or off the stage, idols prefer to be more covered up.
That said, Big Hit Entertainment editors respect BTS’s privacy by editing the clips where they show more skin than they wanted. But, these editors don’t just blur out these scenes, they cover them up using the member’s respective BT21 characters.
RM has been clearly working out as he is obviously a lot more buff than before. It also seemed that the BTS leader is getting more confident with his body that he doesn’t feel the need to cover up off the stage.
Unfortunately for ARMYs, who are very impressed with RM’s built, Koya is out there busy blocking the view. You see, every time the 26-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer show some skin, Koya pops up.
Koya already got a lot of hate two weeks ago when BANGTANTV uploaded a video of some of the BTS members playing basketball. RM was wearing a sheer top while shooting hoops with Jin, but Koya decided to interrupt the view. Wherever RM was going, Koya obediently followed.
Now, BANGTANTV recently posted a behind-the-scenes video of BTS during their stint at the 62nd GRAMMY Awards. While J-Hope was busy talking to the camera, ARMYs spotted a topless RM doing some workout behind him. But just like before, Koya also covered his goods, and ARMYs are not very happy about it.
“Can we all agree that Koya is our mortal enemy?” one fan tweeted. “Opening International Koya haters club. Please sign application to join,” another one shared.
