More information about the highly-awaited "Demon's Souls" Remake recently surfaced online with new and interesting details about its development, gameplay and bosses.

A new set of information about "Demon's Souls" Remake was recently shared online by modder and industry insider Lance McDonald. On his Twitter account, the tipster claimed that the title went gold last Sept 24. While this information is not confirmed some fans believe that the claim is not too much of a stretch since other PS5 launch titles like "Godfall" and "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales" also finished at around that time.

However, some are not totally convinced about this recent claim. Gamerant, for instance, finds it a bit strange that Sony or Bluepoint did not make any official announcement about "Demon's Souls" Remake entering mass distribution. The excitement surrounding the Remake is high, with a lot of PS5 adopters anticipating the game and considering it 'necessary' at PS5's launch.

Granting that the claim is accurate, if "Demon's Souls" Remake has gone gold, the main development on the game is already complete. The game developer might continue working on some fixes and polishing, but it is usually as good as through. Any fixes after the game went gold would be released as Day 1 patch.

Aside from the "Demon's Souls" Remake development update, the insider also claimed in subsequents tweets that he had seen several sections of the gameplay. He added that he has received lots of new details about the game. The gameplay of the upcoming PS5 launch title is reportedly 'largely similar' to what was revealed in the gameplay at the game's debut.

"Demon's Souls" Remake allegedly looks like the original game but features far or disgusting bosses, the insider shared. In cotnrast to the camera positioning in the gameplay trailer, the insider said that it is more zoomed out with the player in the center of the screen, just like in the PlayStation 3 game. The modder also said that the upcoming game utilizes parts of "Shadow of Colossus" game engine.

Additionally, McDonald said that some of the content cut for the original game has been included in "Demon's Souls" Remake. It is worth mentioning that the development and gameplay details shared by the tipster are unofficial and inconfirmed. It is smarter to take this information with a pinch of salt. The gameplay trailer of the much-awaited title released last month is shown below.

"Demon's Souls" Remake is scheduled to arrive along side the PS5 on Nov 12.
