Super Junior amped up the final months of 2020 with two major announcements. The group will release their 10th studio album and stage an online fan meeting to celebrate their 15th debut anniversary.

According to a report by Soompi, Label SJ announced that Super Junior's 10th full album is already in the works. This will be Super Junior's second comeback for the year after they released TIMELESS in January.

The label reported the album will be released sometime in December and will include Super Junior's anniversary song "The Melody". The song will be released ahead of the full album on November 6 at 6 pm KST. Label SJ described the track as a medium tempo song that will give off a feeling of nostalgia to the listeners.

Super Junior will also hold an online fan meeting on November 7 through the Beyond LIVE platform to celebrate the group's 15th year in the entertainment industry. The event is entitled Beyond LIVE - SUPER JUNIOR 15th Anniversary Special Event - Invitation and will happen on V Live at 5 pm KST.

Members of Everlasting Friends (ELFs), Super Junior's solid fandom, can purchase the tickets through V Live and YES24.

Throughout the years, Super Junior has gone through a massive evolution but they remain as one of the most successful Kpop boy groups from the second generation era.

With 15 years in the business, the 13 member group is now down to nine active members including Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Siwon, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun.

By collaborating with new artists and producers, Super Junior managed to keep their music fresh and relevant, adding new aspects to their songs and performances with each new album.

Their antics also keep the fans on their toes as the kings of variety provide quality content and entertainment with every outing.

According to a report by All Kpop, Super Junior recently launched an interactive voting event for the 2020 Super Junior Awards where members will compete for unique categories like Best Cosplay of All Time, Super Junior's Most Popularized Phrase, The No. 1 Song You Want Super Junior to Remake, and The Best Moment of Super Junior's Career.

Last June, it can be recalled that Leeteuk received praise from a psychologist for being able to lead a group with such complex dynamics for 15 years.

Psychologist Song Hyeong Seok credited Leeteuk for being able to balance the clashing personalities of the members to create a harmonious relationship within the team for the past decade and a half. He added that while there were many potential leaders in Super Junior based on their characteristics, no one could have pulled off what Leeteuk has done, GMA News reported.
