SM Entertainment refused to comment on EXO Chanyeol's dating scandal but a Chinese fan defended the idol and pointed out loopholes in the allegations made by the accuser.

According to a report by All Kpop, an anonymous netizen posted allegations that Chanyeol cheated on her the whole time that they were dating for three years. The netizen refused to identify herself but posted several images of Chanyeol with a woman whose face and body was blurred out.

In her post, the woman addressed Chanyeol through an open letter. She claimed that while they were dating, Chanyeol blatantly cheated on her by dating different women including YouTube streamers, girl group members, flight attendants, and more.

The woman spoke of her heartbreak after learning of Chanyeol's alleged dirty deeds because she said she was clueless about the extent of his cheating. She said that the idol even cheated on her with her friends.

The woman also claimed that she kept a recording of Chanyeol's denial when she confronted him about his infidelity. She said that she exposed the EXO member because she wanted the world to find out what a bad person he was.

After the scandal broke out, SM Entertainment issued a brief comment on the issue but the label's statement merely said that they have no official position regarding the post. Meanwhile, a Chinese fan posted her rebuttal about the allegations against Chanyeol, Soompi reported.

She pointed out loopholes in the accuser's story. In a lengthy post on Weibo, the Chinese netizen pointed out that the images uploaded by Chanyeol's accuser may have been digitally modified. The fan shared the two images of Chanyeol in the same pose.

In one image, the EXO member was holding a mic, but in the image posted by his accuser, he was holding flowers. The Chinese fan also pointed out that Chanyeol's beanie in the image shared by the woman seemed to have been flipped. The fan said that this could be proof that the image was altered through mirroring. She posted the right position of the beanie's logo to serve as evidence.

The fan pointed out that in the images shared by Chanyeol's accuser, there were no signs of the EXO member's tattoos which are well known to fans. The original posts have already been deleted, leading some supporters to believe that Chanyeol's accuser could already be feeling guilty for not being truthful, Kpopstarz reported.
