A new weapon that is much difficult to unlock than Legendary is arriving soon in Call of Duty: Mobile."

On its official Twitter account, "Call of Duty: Mobile" finally unveiled its first-ever mythic weapon, the Fennic Ascended. Among all the guns introduced since the game was launched in 2019, the Fennec is the first one to receive a Mythic treatment. A lot of players love this weapon because it's a powerful SMG that they could wield in any multiplayer mode.

One major focus of the Mythic gun is on cosmetic improvements, which allows "Call of Duty: Mobile" players to customize the weapon in several ways. It seems that trading out attachments is possible with this new weapon scale and based on the teaser video, it looks like it could also change its color. According to CODM, the Fennec Ascended already showed up in the game's arsenal, but it is not yet available.

On Twitter, the "Call of Duty: Mobile" account only hinted that the Mythic weapon would be available later in the week. Before the video ends, there is a date on the upper right corner, which states Nov 6. Essentially, the Fennec Ascended Mythic weapon goes live on Nov 6.

Activision is still tight-lipped as to how the new weapon rarity would be unlocked by "Call of Duty: Mobile" players. Typically, cosmetics could be accessed through random loot crates or behind Battle Pass tiers. It is possible that a certain mythic package could be available for purchase at launch.

Since the Fennec Ascended is the first-ever mythic weapon in "Call of Duty: Mobile," players have a lot of questions. Activision said that at the surface level, the upcoming weapon would still appear as a basic weapon. Interestingly, the new rarity could offer new options for unique and eye-catchy cosmetics.

Activision also clarified that nothing about the upcoming fennec Ascended mythic weapon could alter the gameplay balance of "Call of Duty: Mobile" nor will it make the player competitively better. Just like death effect or reactive camos, the mythic weapon rarity level is intended to make the weapon look unique.

Since the game was introduced in Oct 2019, "Call of Duty: Mobile" players have been able to try five unique kinds of loot. There is also the weapon scale that ranges from common and the hard to unlock Legendary. With the Fennic Ascended arriving in a few days from now, players should make sure to have enough in-game currency to be able to avail of the drop in case it would be available for purchase.
