Donald Trump shocked the world when he became the United States' top leader in 2016. He has since obtained mixed receptions from the public as many individuals either praise or condemn him.

But, behind some of his life's most challenging battles, several individuals have remained interested in his life story. It is not surprising, though, considering the paths he has taken from being a real estate mogul to the nation's number one leader.

As his race against Joe Biden fastly approaches its conclusion, the Daily Express looks back to his personal story. Based on all accounts, his story started on June 14, 1946, when Mary McLeod gave birth to him.

Donald Trump is the fourth child of McLeod and Frederick "Fred" Trump. Reports said that his father was a Bronx-born child of German immigrants. As for his mother, she was born in Scotland and immigrated to the United States when she was 18.

The now-U.S. President has two sisters and two brothers. His older brother Frederick Jr died in 1981 due to alcoholism. Several publications noted that this is the reason why Trump does not drink nor smoke cigarettes, adding that he has since avoided these vices.

He lost his youngest brother, Robert, earlier this year. Trump referred to him as his "best friend" in a written statement, discussing the death of his youngest sibling.

A year before entering his first political race, Donald Trump, reportedly, revealed that things "have not been easy" for him. However, he was not talking about his life and its entirety. Instead, he was referring to his businesses, especially when he started his first venture.

Trump revealed how his father "inspired" him to follow his footsteps in the world of business. He shared about his "small" beginnings in Brooklyn, noting that Fred Trump gave him a "small loan" amounting to a million dollars.

BBC, also, recently released a brief report about Donald Trump's movements in his career. Following the loan his father gave him, he joined the family's company and helped with the management of portfolio. He, then, took over from Fred Trump in 1971 and changed the company's name to the Trump Organization.

His three adult kids, Don Jr, Ivanka, and Eric, later on, joined him in running their empire. When he left to serve the American people, his two older sons seemingly took over, while his first daughter followed his suit inside the White House.

Aside from his three kids in his first marriage, the U.S. President has two other kids from his second and third marriage. He shares his second daughter, Tiffany Trump, with Marla Maples, and Barron Trump with Melania Trump, who is serving inside the White House as First Lady.
