Some "League of Legends: Wild Rift" players later realize that they no longer like their username or in-game name or at times they made a mistake when they set up their name; for those who would like to change theirs, there are a couple of methods on how to do it.

Change In-Game Name Through "League of Legends: Wild Rift" App

The first thing the "League of Legends: Wild Rift" player needs to do is to log in to his "WILD Rift" account. After that, head to Settings, tap Account Settings, which is located in the top right corner. Doing this would allow the app to prompt login. When asked to log in, the "League of Legends: Wild Rift" player should use his existing Riot ID.

There are times when the app requires email verification. If this happens, the player just needs to enter the code sent to the registered email address. If the login is successful, the player should proceed to the RIOT ID section located at the bottom. In there, the player's current "League of Legends: Wild Rift" ID is shown along with an editing option. Tap the edit button and key in the desired username. After that, tap the submit button.

Change In-Game Name in "League of Legends: Wild Rift" Through Riot Account's Website

This other method is as simple as the first one detailed above. To do this, the "League of Legends: Wild Rift" player just have to go to the official login page of Riot Games. The player would be asked for a username and password. This can also be done through the player's Facebook, Apple, or Google account.

When the login is successful, the player should go to Account Settings and go to the Riot ID section. Tap the edit option that comes with the player's Riot ID and an option to set a username becomes available. The "League of Legends: Wild Rift" player must key in the new username and tap the Submit button. To check the new username, the player can log in using the Riot Games account in the game and head to the Profile section.

It is worth mentioning that a player can only change the in-game name once every 30 days. Meanwhile, "League of Legends: Wild Rift" is currently available on Android devices in select regions. Riot Games previously announced that the game's beta would soon be available in the U.S. sometime in the Spring of 2021.
