Amber Heard gives the perfect response to fans who want her to be out of Aquaman 2. After Warner Bros., reportedly, asked Johnny Depp to resign from his role in Fantastic Beasts 3, fans are now asking the studio to fire the 34-year-old actress.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Heard proudly said she would reprise her role as Mera in Aquaman 2. She added she's now "super excited" about the love and support the movie receives.

Heard continued to say the tremendous appreciation she and the rest of the cast experience only mean that Aquaman, plays by Jason Momoa, and Mera will return. For that, she's now excited to start the filming.

Coincidentally, the interview happened days after Depp exited Fantastic Beasts 3. In a post on Instagram, the 57-year-old actor revealed he would no longer play his role as Gellert Grindelwald in the movie franchise after losing his libel case against The Sun.

Later, the studio confirmed the dark wizard's role would be recast, per Devdiscourse. Since then, Depp's supporters are demanding to get Heard fried from the Aquaman sequel, too.

The online petition to have her removed from the Jason Momoa-movie franchise also emerged. As of this writing, the appeal now has more than 1 million signatures.

Heard called this move a "paid campaign," stressing this, along with "paid rumors," didn't dictate casting decision because "they had no basis in reality." She continued it was fans who made Aquaman and Aquaman 2 happened.

Last week, a U.K. judged ruled The Sun article that named Depp a "wife beater," relating to Heard's domestic violence accusation against her former husband, was not libelous. In her verdict, Judge Andrew Nicol dismissed the Pirates of the Caribbean star's complaint, saying a great majority of Heard's claims of assaults could be "proved to the civil standard."

The Pirates of the Caribbean star sued the publication's publisher, News Group Newspapers, and vehemently denied all of his ex-wife's allegations. Depp countered Heard's claims, saying she was the abuser in their relationship.
Depp's lawyer called the decision "perverse as it is bewildering." In a statement to USA Today, Jenny Afia said that with the flawed judgment, it is quite impossible for Depp not to appeal. On the other hand, Heard's attorney said the verdict was "not a surprise" for anyone who watched the trial from the very beginning.
