"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is the new installment to the popular "AC" series that introduces players to the Vikings of Medieval England. It is the story of the main protagonist Eivor as he journeys the world with monsters, bandits, and danger lurking. For players who want an easier time traveling the world, these tips and tricks could come in handy.

Use Odin's Sight As Constantly As Possible

In "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," Odin's Sight is the Animus Pulse or Eagle Vision most "Assassin's Creed" series players are familiar with. Through this, players would easily know food and resources needed for healing and crafting gear upgrades. Odin's Sight highlights collectibles and loots, too, even if they are out of sight or located underground.

Aside from those, Odin's Sight also highlights enemies for "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players, even if they are camouflaged among groups of similarly dressed warriors. When in a settlement, players should make it a habit to trigger Odin's Sight.

Viking Combat Tips

The combat in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is not too different from other titles of the franchise; however, there are several changes. For players who enjoy archery in combat, enemies now have a weak point that they could target. There is a defense slot that removes a segment of a stat bar above the enemy.

When this defense slot is eliminated, players could quickly stun them and create considerable damages. Some enemies have multiple weak points, while others have only one. The weak point is indicated by a bright orange spot when the player aims at enemies using a bow.

Apart from these, "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players need to deal with a stamina bar for combat. This restricts the number of times players could dodge out of the way. Several others find this frustrating.

Weapon and Armor Quality Upgrades

New "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players will not be overwhelmed with new gears. While they could find some along the way, for a long time, there is a great chance that they would be sticking with a particular gear for a long time. All gear be it weapons or armors could be upgraded and these come in a couple of varieties.

One way to upgrade weapons and armors is by using the inventory menu. Players need to go over a piece of gear and the menu would show the resources needed to upgrade that particular item. The other kind of upgrade could be done at a blacksmith's shop. Players need to spend Cabon Ingots for these upgrades.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is now available on various platforms. It is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Google Stadia and Microsoft Windows.
