Jimin is considered to have a standard height for Asian men. However, he is the shortest one in BTS, so he gets a lot of teasing because of it.

RM is the tallest out of the bunch, followed by Jin, V, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, and Jimin. But On Nov. 13, the “Filter” singer took to Twitter to proudly tell ARMYs that he grew taller. According to the screenshot of his results, Jimin’s height in 2019 was 173.6cm, and he is now 174cm.

Many are probably wondering what Jimin did to grow 0.40cm in one year. While the BTS star didn’t reveal his secret, Suga may be the reason why he grew taller.

You see, Suga’s wish for Jimin’s birthday last year was for him to “eat more and grow taller.” Although JM lost weight this year, he did grow in the height department.

There were a lot of instances when Suga had predicted the future. The “Daechwita” rapper seemed to prove this unusual talent even more after Jimin flaunted his sudden growth.

Unfortunately for Jimin, a lot of ARMYs were doubtful of the accuracy of his new height update. Last month, J-Hope threw his members under the bus when he shared that they turned into a certain animal during their health check-up.

“The members become giraffes when they’re getting their height measured.... their necks just,,, seem to stretch out in such a fascinating way,” he said.

Without mentioning any names, ARMYs were convinced that one of those “giraffes” that J-Hope was talking about was Jimin. The fans recalled a scene from Run BTS! In Episode 92, where JM wanted to prove that he has long arms that he stretched his arms out so much to the point that he almost looked distorted.

It could be very possible that the 0.40cm that Jimin grew this year is just all because of his giraffe-like neck during the check-up. ARMYs find the whole thing hilarious that they edited a photo of the Big Hit Entertainment company artists, where they stood by height, and put Jimin to the very end, saying that he’ll be the tallest one by the end of 2021.

One ARMY even calculated Jimin’s height and how much he grew this year to know the exact date that he will be the tallest member of BTS. Based on the fan's calculations, JM will be taller than RM on June 1, 2049.
