Lucifer season 6 is the final installment of the Netflix series. Production is currently underway, with the cast and crew filming in Los Angeles. Details about the final outing remain scarce and there is a question whether some familiar faces in the past will show up -- including Inbar Lavi's character, Eve.

At the moment, there is no confirmed report that Eve is coming back in Lucifer season 6. The character was last seen at the end of the season 4 finale, wherein she chose to leave Los Angeles to go on a journey of self-discovery. Her decision broke Maze (played by Lesley-Ann Brandt), as well.

Although nothing is certain, Lavi previously hinted that her character might be playing a major role in the final installment. The actress shared a mirror of her as Eve with animated devil horns attached to her on her Instagram. She is seemingly on the set and asked in an interactive poll: "Hell: Yah/Nah?"

Since Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) is on Earth, no one is left on Hell to rule. Some speculated that Eve probably goes down and fills his former lover's position for the time being. Others even suggested that Mazy will join her there, ruling Hell together.

Even though Eve's return in Lucifer season 6 is yet to be confirmed, showrunners Idly Modrovich and Joe Henderson announced that the character is coming back in the second half of season 5. She will, reportedly, play a significant part in the remaining eight episodes.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, both Henderson and Modrovich noted that they're excited to have Inbar back since Eve has been absent in the story for quite a while now. Thus, it's clear that more stories are stored for her moving forward.

In another report, Elizabeth Grullon is joining the rest of the cast in Lucifer season 6. Not much is known about her role but she's going to play the character of Erika. It remains to be seen whether she is another foe Lucifer has to take on.

Some fans took to Reddit and theorized Erika's part in the final installment. One suggested that she's the "soul of the Earth," named Gaia, while others speculated that she could be Gabriel. Grullon also wrapped up filming which means she'll possibly appear in just one episode.

Meanwhile, the premiere date of Lucifer season 6 is unknown until now. The second part of the fifth installment hasn't been released, though a late 2020 or early 2021 return date is feasible. While waiting for the final outing, fans can watch the first five seasons of the series on Netflix.
