In "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," rations make up the core health system of Eivor and enable him to heal during a fight. It can be saved and be used later. While there are many ways on how to get rations, Ubisoft does not mention how to upgrade Eivor's rations.

While Eivor has access to only one ration at a time, it can be upgraded to enable Eivor to store more. Upgrading ration will help Eivor get through tough battles, considering that keeping up to four rations will enable him to outlast even difficult bosses in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla." To upgrade the ration, Eivor has to check the inventory menu and over their rations.

The player must hold the prompt button to do this. Through this, Eivor could carry more than one ration. The first upgrade would cost 100 iron ore and 50 leather; however, it goes up after every upgrade. To further upgrade rations, Eivor would need fabric and titanium ore--these are materials in the wild or in chests. Essentially, "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players who would like to have an adequate amount of materials when they upgrade their rations should keep an eye on these as they progress in the game.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" does not tell players that upgrading rations would initially require iron ores and leather. Players would only learn about this until they have enough of both resources to purchase their first ration upgrade. It is recommended that players should expand settlement in the game.

This could be done by building Yani's merchant hut where materials like iron ore and leather are available for one silver. This is the best way to upgrade the rations before the game informs the player. Additionally, it is recommended that players upgrade their rations to level 3 or 4 as early as possible, as this could spell out a huge difference when raiding high-level encampments or fighting more challenging bosses.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players would not need fabric in the first few upgrades. However, players will have to scour areas for chests if they decide to upgrade their rations further because of its rarity. Fortunately, chests are almost everywhere in "Assassin's Creed Valhalla." Players can find them in each minor encampment.

Meanwhile, Titanium could be found in nature. "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" players could use the Right Stick Raven's Eye feature to get a good look at all the possible objects that they could interact in their surroundings.

"Assassin's Creed Valhalla" is playable on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
