Prince Harry had the support of the royal family after he and Meghan Markle went through a personal tragedy in July. Following the Duchess of Sussex's miscarriage, the Duke of Sussex reportedly reached out to Prince Charles and William, who were also sad over the loss of what would have been the Sussex pair's second baby.

According to Daily Mirror, Charles and William were there for Harry and Meghan. Charles reportedly checked up on the pair frequently.

Officially, however, the offices of Prince Charles and Prince William, Clarence House and Kensington Palace, refused to comment on the matter. Buckingham Palace, the Queen's office, also said that it would not comment on a very personal matter.

However, an insider told People that there is "a lot of sadness around the family" after Meghan's miscarriage. Prince Harry's family was aware that Meghan will be releasing her story in public.

Meghan recently revealed her tragic experience in an op-ed piece in the New York Times. The duchess said that she and her husband cried over the loss following the confirmation at the hospital.

Harry and Meghan have been based in Los Angeles since the lockdown started in March. The couple has no plans to return to London this year due to the hassle and health risks of traveling during this pandemic.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex can also count on the support of another relative. Princess Diana's brother, Earl Charles Spencer, sympathized with his nephew and niece-in-law. Speaking in the talk show Lorraine, Earl Spencer said that he could not imagine the agony of losing a child and that Harry and Meghan will be in his thoughts.

Harry and William have remained close to their mother's side of the family despite her demise in 1997. Princess Diana's sisters, Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, were at the Archie Harrison's christening in 2019.

Meanwhile, a source told Us Weekly that Meghan was "a few months" in when she had her miscarriage. The pair is reportedly trying to get pregnant again. Their eldest son will be 19 months old in the first week of December.

Meghan, who is 39, was rumored to be pregnant a few weeks ago after she sought a change in the court date of her legal trial against the tabloid, Mail on Sunday and its publisher. The trial was supposed to start in January 2021, but the judge agreed to move the trial to nine months. The court said the reason was "confidential," prompting royal fans to speculate that Meghan and Prince Harry would welcome their second child in mid-2021.
