Melania Trump has only two months left inside the White House. Following Donald Trump's defeat against Joe Biden, the First Couple will exit the People's House after the U.S. President-Elect takes his oath in January 2021.
Amid the talks about the Trumps' possible career moves, sources told Page Six that the First Lady has been "in talks" about penning her own memoir. The "usually private" Melania will likely write and publish a book about her stint in the East Wing.
Details remain scarce about the material but, insiders claimed that the outgoing U.S. President is "encouraging" his wife to do it. The book will, also, become a way to earn her own money, as well as set the records straight following her former best friend, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's "betrayal."
The former White House staff released a bombshell memoir titled, Melania and Me, earlier in September. She included several allegations about Melania Trump and the rest of the First Family. Alongside the book, Wolkoff, also, leaked her conversations with Melania through tapes she secretly recorded in 2018.
Insiders explained that the First Lady took these matters into "consideration" when deciding to release her own "explosive" book. Her former friend's memoir and secret tapes became factors to her decision in planning to share her side of the story, according to the Daily Mail.
With this at hand, reports said that Melania Trump's story could increase its worth further, resulting in "big money." She, also, likely saw the impact of her personal essay, published on the White House's official website, where she indirectly slammed Stephanie Winston Wolkoff.
The same publication, later on, added that Donald Trump will, also, possibly release his own memoir after he leaves his post. The speculations come after sources alleged that he received deal offers amounting to hundreds of millions of dollars in exchange for penning a book.
It will not come as a surprise if the U.S. President writes and releases his own book, detailing his experience inside the White House. Former White House residents typically do the same upon leaving their positions from the Oval Office.
Earlier this month, Barack Obama released his latest book, A Promised Land, which details his life as the U.S. President. He, also, revealed his truths about how the presidency negatively impacted his marriage to Michelle Obama.
The former First Lady penned her own memoir in 2018. Becoming, later on, became one of the best-selling books, and even topped the list in the same year. Accordingly, it will not be a surprise, as well, if Melania Trump releases her own in the next few months.
