We Never Learn might be a typical romantic-comedy manga, but it is one of the fans' most favorite. Now, it looks like readers have to say goodbye to Nariyuki Yuiga and the rest of the cast as it is about to come to an end.

Manga creator Taishi Tsutsui announced the nearing end of We Never Learn. He said he had finally completed the work on the series' storyboard for its last chapter.

Tsutsui revealed that he still found the final story lonely despite the number of times he had experienced the manga series. He even had a hard time writing the end, but he promised to do his best for the last time.

However, according to Epic Dope, it is yet to be revealed when the story will officially close. So, it looks like fans still have to wait for an official announcement about it.

The next issue will, reportedly, start with a "new arc of a parallel story," Anime News Network reported. It will feature the end of Nariyuki's story, along with other characters in the series.

Fans who are fond of Quintessential Quintuplet's tale will surely enjoy We Never Learn's plotline due to its focus on "great characterization." It has successfully managed to make its characters shine differently.

Viz Media publishes the manga's English version, and it describes the story that is starting with Nariyuki. The protagonist comes from a low-income family who wants to secure a full scholarship to college for him after he finishes high school.

The principal promises to give him one, but it comes with a certain condition -- he must tutor the two smartest girls, Rizu and Fumino. Nariyuki has to make sure that these girls will go to their targeted college schools.

Nariyuki is a science genius who wants to take liberal arts, while Fumino is good at literature but hates math. Now that Nariyuki feels stuck between the two, he may only find comfort teaching two cute ladies.

We Never Learn launched in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2017, while its 19th volume was shipped on October 2. Alternatively, its anime adaptation premiered in April 2019, followed by Season 2 in October of the same year.

The manga's main story had come to an end in Spring 2020, while its final character was published in Weekly Shonen Jump in March. Now, We Never Learn is on its fifth and final route.
