It appears WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has had enough of his cousin, Jey Uso. Both teamed up for a tag match against Kevin Owens and Otis but the ending carried dire implications.

Owens and Otis picked up the win via disqualification after Reigns entered the ring and applied a Guillotine to KO. Uso appeared doomed at that point and the Big Dog took matters into his own hands. Both Reigns and Uso unleased a brutal post-game attack on their two opponents. But in the end, it was only the WWE Universal Champion standing tall at the Dec. 4 edition of WWE SmackDown.

Reigns laid out Uso with a chair shot, something seen as payback for a misstep in the family. With WWE TLC less than two weeks away, it will be interesting if the two cousins end up feuding after the Dec. 20 pay-per-view.

There are still two SmackDown episodes left with Uso likely to stand his ground. It could be a ploy on his part, playing along with Reigns before striking where it hurt. That could come at WWE TLC when Owens challenges the Tribal Chief in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match. So the question right now is how will Jey Uso do it.

It has always been known that Jey Uso would be getting a push at some point. But as far as becoming WWE Universal champion, the feeling may be mixed. A babyface turn could cut it but somehow, that may not be enough to dethrone Reigns.

Hence, it may nothing be more than a family affair with focus once more on who deserves to be the tribal chief. The upcoming episodes will be interesting although it is likely to see Reigns having his way against his cousin for now.

A possible scenario at TLC is to see Uso still help Reigns in their title match. This could come at a point where KO has the momentum. The 35-year-old will likely get things right and get the good graces of Reigns. But once that happens, wait for the sudden twist of seeing Uso lay out his cousin in some way.

Also, Jimmy Uso could be inserted in the fray. He could be a factor in getting his brother Jey back to his senses. Both could reunite and do battle against Reigns with Jimmy possibly acting as Jey’s temporary manager for now.

It could be a title shot for Uso in the end. Though he could win the match, it may be via disqualification – meaning the WWE title is unlikely to change hands between the two cousins.
