Prince William and Prince Harry are reportedly bonding and taking often again because of their mother, Princess Diana.

As BBC is conducting a new investigation into the Princess of Wales' interview from 25 years ago, William and Harry have reportedly been working together to get some answers. They also want to know how Panorama and Martin Bashir convinced their mother to talk to them.

A source from US Weekly revealed that both William and Harry are on the same page about the investigation. The insider said that this is perhaps the "silver lining" to the reignited controversy, which alleges that Bashir used "unethical tactics" in landing the bombshell interview that triggered the divorce of Princess Diana and Prince Charles.

The source said that BBC's new investigation has allowed the royal brothers to speak more frequently on Zoom or WhatsApp. William has apparently "come to terms" with Harry's decision to step back from his royal role with Meghan Markle. On the other hand, Harry has realized that he cannot have this dark cloud over his head because of his rift with his brother.

Just a month ago, Kensington Palace released a statement saying that the Duke of Cambridge believes BBC's investigation is a "step in the right direction." A few days later, sources from Prince Harry's camp said that he has been made "aware of everything" about the investigation but decided not to make a public statement.

The insider also said that some people are using this issue to "drive a wedge between" Harry and William. It comes after critics wondered why the Duke of Sussex had been mum about his mother's re-ignited interview.

But Vanity Fair royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said William and Harry's relationship is doing a lot better. Nicholl believes that the Dukes of Cambridge and Sussex will be making video calls to each other for Christmas.

Nicholl also said that Harry and Meghan already sent their Christmas presents to William, Kate Middleton, and their three kids. Unfortunately, the Sussexes won't be coming home for the holidays in London while the rest of the royal family won't be converging at Sandringham because of the health risks.

Harry is apparently a generous gift-giver to his nephews and niece. At one point, he gave Prince George a toy electric SUV and Princess Charlotte a tricycle. The Duke of Sussex also gave Prince Louis a first edition Winnie the Pooh book that reportedly cost almost $10,000.
