Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might not be in London for Christmas, but they didn't forget to send gifts to their family, especially Prince William, Kate Middleton, and the Cambridge's three children.

According to an insider via Vanity Fair, Harry and Meghan are in a "much better place" with William and Kate. Besides their gift exchange, the source said that the royal brothers are in regular contact and will likely be video calling each other's family this Christmas.

The source also said that the Duke of Sussex is settling pretty well in Los Angeles after fleeting moments of homesickness. The insider shared that Harry has no feelings of regrets about uprooting his life, except for when Prince Charles and William had COVID-19 early this year.

In Meghan, the Duke of Sussex found his kindred spirit, with whom he'll create his new path away from the royals.

Generally, however, Harry and Meghan are feeling optimistic about their future, especially with the launch of Archewell, their new foundation, in 2021. According to Finding Freedom author Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex regarded 2020 as a "listening period" after pushing back Archewell's unveiling due to the pandemic.

Harry and Meghan realized that they shouldn't rush to launch their foundation since this will be their lifelong work and legacy. Thus, their focus this year was on setting their roots by purchasing their new home and establishing their foundation's office in Los Angeles.

The news comes as Prince Harry and Meghan will no longer be officially regarded as senior royals in 2021. According to Mirror, Queen Elizabeth showed the public her New Firm when all eight, minus the Sussexes, made a rare appearance together at Windsor Castle for a special royal engagement.

Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to sit down with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William in March 2021 to discuss their 12-month review following their royal exit. Reports cited that Harry and Meghan might be permanently stripped off their HRH titles and will no longer re-join the working royals once this trial period is over.

But it will not be a loss for Prince Harry and Meghan, who gained a multi-million Netflix deal in August, which would see the pair producing shows for the streaming platform for the next few years. Scobie said that royal fans would see the Sussex pair's hard work bearing fruits in 2021 after a tumultuous 2020.
