All the members of SEVENTEEN were recently tested for COVID-19 after they were exposed to a COVID positive case at a hair salon.

According to a report by Koreaboo, all 13 members of SEVENTEEN are currently under self-isolation pending the result of their test.

The group reportedly went to a hair salon, which was visited by a COVID-19 carrier. Their visits overlapped, so the group members were advised to get tested to be on the safe side.

According to the statement issued by Pledis Entertainment, the group immediately underwent testing after the label was informed of the positive case.

The label decided to take immediate action to protect the members' health and the safety of all the staff and crew who work with them.

Pledis apologized for causing the fans to worry but assured them that they would take even better care of their artists in the future. They said that they would strive hard so that that this type of thing will not happen again.

It can be recalled that several idols recently tested positive for COVID-19. Three members of UP10TION, including Xiao, Kogyeo, and Bitto, tested positive for the virus.

According to a statement from TOP Media, Kogyeol and Bitto tested positive for COVID-19 and had to stay at a designated facility. After they were discharged, Bitto tested negative while Kogyeol still tested positive. However, because he was asymptomatic, he was advised to undergo self-quarantine and additional testing before he resumes normal activities, Soompi reported.

Xiao was the most recent member who was tested positive for COVID-19. The agency said that he was also asymptomatic. He was advised to stay at an isolated facility and undergo additional testing. He has not come into contact with UP10TION members and anyone since his diagnosis.

Meanwhile, Kuhn, Sunyoul, Gyujin, and Hwanhee, also tested positive after a period of self-quarantine. They got tested again and received negative results after an additional 14 days in self-quarantine.

Several other Kpop idols and groups also got themselves tested after appearing in variety shows and music shows like MBC's Show! Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo.

It can be recalled that Chungha recently confirmed that she was tested positive for the virus.

EVERGLOW's Yiren and Sihyeon also tested positive after the girl group appeared in Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook in late November.

According to a report by SCMP, Yiren came into contact with a COVID-19 positive person two days before the show but she was only informed of it later.

All the members got tested, and four of the members were tested negative for the virus.
