The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 7 will likely remain its focus on the Knight Templar theory. The Lagina brothers, Rick and Marty, continue with their investigation in finding the path towards the Money Pit. And now, here is what viewers can expect in "Mounting evidence."
The Laginas and the team are going to look for more evidence about the Knight Templar theory in The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 7. In episode 6, they discovered a stone roadway found beneath the swamp. They tried to locate it, which eventually leads them to the sea.
Back in the previous season, fellow historians told the Laginas and the team that the geometric figure found in the painting of Nicolas Poussin could direct them to the speculated Money Pit. Then, they learned that these figures were similar to a treasure map.
Now, the fellowship focused again on the Knight Templar theory. They discovered a seemingly "perfect line," which starts from Jerusalem, leading to Versailles, and culminating in Oak Island. The majority is convinced that the Knights Templar dug up Solomon's treasure, which consists of the Menorah.
They suspected that the treasure was brought to North America to keep it safe, and the burial site could be in Oak Island. The Knight Templar Theory was further supported after Erin Shelton's interpreted Zena Halpern's map, suggesting that there are strategically" placed boulders leading to the treasure.
Erin gave further input about the Knight Templar theory, which caused other viewers to react. One fan said that Erin believes that Zena Halpern's map "is in possession of a couple of other clues," while another one noted that Erin should be an official member of the team.
