Although the show started right on schedule, the Japanese government's declaration of a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic badly affected its production scheme.
So, Kingdom Season 3 was rescheduled for a spring 2021 release. On the other hand, Kingdom Chapter 665 would drop on Tuesday, December 22.
