Rajon Rondo will have to dig deep to keep his focus for the coming NBA season. The 34-yer-old guard is embroiled in the suit with a woman seeking roughly over $1 million in a parking space dispute over at a Los Angeles department.

Actual footage of what happened was released courtesy of TMZ Sports. Though it had no audio, the video showed what went down. Through it all, Rondo was never seen (intentionally) pushing the complainant, Toktam Jorshari.

The closes that Rondo came to physically getting in contact with the woman was when the 34-year-old appeared to be separating her and his girlfriend. Probably unaware of his strength, the “nudge” was too strong that Jorshari ended up losing one of her sandals.

But it could be seen in the video that Rondo did not mean for it to happen. He tried to bend over and get the sandal, presumably to aid the accuser. However, things just got out of hand from there with the two women getting into it and the two-time NBA champion left helpless.

Rewinding a bit, Rondo and his girlfriend appears to be talking when the woman arrived. Jorshari was unhappy with the way the NBA player had parked his vehicle. She was going to unload a newly purchased table but doing so was impossible due to space in between the two vehicles.

With no audio, it remains unknown what things Jorshari said. But based on the suit and the reaction of Rondo and his girlfriend, they were far from kind words.

Further, it could be seen that before things turned ugly that Jorshari was seemingly trying to provoke Rondo’s girlfriend. Rondo appeared to try and prevent the situation by standing in between them but the woman kept on lunging forward.

Jorshari’s side made it clear that they are not open to any kind of humane settlement and that the case will push through. But as far as her claim as Rondo physically attacking her, the video can speak for itself.

There are inconsistencies in the claim and Rondo seemed calm and composed, reacting only when Jorshari uttered some unknown things.

Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Rondo’s girlfriend who assaulted Jorshari as a result of her verbal attacks.

"The plaintiff and Mr. Rondo’s girlfriend had an unpleasant encounter that lasted roughly 10 seconds, and Mr. Rondo tried to prevent them from any further interaction, which was awkward due to (a) his thumb being broken, and (b) the plaintiff not wearing a mask," Baute stated.
