The Beast In Me Side Job
"Cyberpunk 2077" players will get a call from Claire the bartender from the Afterlife after they complete the main job titled "Double Life." If players accept her offer, they should meet her at her garage located in Arroyo. This will activate the side job called The Beast in Me."
Unlike other side jobs, this one is straightforward and features a series of races that players need to win. Nice or fast cars are not required in this job, and players could just use Claire's truck to win the race. However, things get interesting when they reach the final, where players are compelled to make the right call.
Sampson will lead the race in the finals, and Claire advises V to stay close to his car so she could damage it. The game will prompt players to either continue to tail Sampson or finish the race.
The Beast In Me Side Job's Choices And Outcomes
V's choices will change the outcome of the game's quest. V could ignore Claire's advice to tail Sampson's vehicle and finish the race instead. However, this choice would upset Claire that she would turn hostile towards V at their next encounter in the latter part of the "Cyberpunk 2077." However, if V finishes the race and gets first place, he will receive a massive amount of experience, $2780, and Street Cred.
Later in the race, Sampson will text V that he will give him his Type-66 CTHULHU ride as a way of showing gratitude for keeping Claire off the race. If players choose to do what Claire asks, they need to turn off the race when Sampson abandons the vehicle because of damage. An accident will happen, and players would be faced with another set of choices.
These are to either let Claire take her revenge or convince Claire to spare Sampson. If Claire killed Sampson and was able to take her revenge, players would get Claire's truck as a reward. The right choice, however, is to encourage Claire to spare Sampson.
To do this, players have to convince her not to take revenge. After the accident, V must tell Claire that he wants to hear Sampson out and keep convincing Claire not to kill him. If V convinces her, he gets Claire's truck and Sampson's vehicle as a reward.
