Donald Trump and Melania Trump flew to Florida for their Christmas break in Mar-a-Lago. Reports said that they landed last Wednesday, and are planning to return to the White House next year.

While details remain scarce, sources recently released more shocking claims about the outgoing First Couple. Business Insider reported that the U.S. President had his wife's redecorations in the property ripped off.

Unnamed insiders alleged that Trump ordered the staff from his Palm Beach club to tear the redecorations apart as he was "so displeased." These items include "white marble and an abundance of dark wood," which were overseen by the First Lady, alongside interior decorator Tham Kannalikham.

The assertions first came from CNN, who confirmed with sources that Donald Trump was mainly dissatisfied with the changes with his private quarters. Melania Trump renovated the 3,000-square-foot space to make it much "larger and updated."

But, upon seeing his space, as well as the rest of the renovations done in the other aspects of the property, it did not all, reportedly, appeal to the U.S. President's aesthetics. The staff, whom he "berated," quickly obliged and followed his orders to remove all the decorations.

Apart from making his dissatisfaction known, sources continued that Donald Trump has since become "moody." He, also, reportedly, spends more of his time behind closed doors, adding that he no longer mingles and converses "as much as he normally does" with people inside his club.

Another source from the private club asserted that "the vibe is off" in comparison to the previous Christmas celebrations. But, despite this, reports said that their annual New Year's Eve party will still move forward on Thursday.

The Independent reported that Melania and Donald Trump set the ticket prices at $1,000 per head. Only members of the Mar-a-Lago club are the ones that may attend the black-tie gala.

Sources previously revealed that 500 guests already confirmed their reservations. What remains uncertain, though, whether the guests and hosts will follow the strict COVID-19 protocols and guidelines at the venue.

Amid all the talks about the outgoing First Couple during their holiday stay in Florida, the White House has not released any comment yet. Similarly, the U.S. President and the First Lady have since remained tight-lipped about the allegations over the redecorations.

Apart from not releasing statements, reports recalled that the American leader has yet to reveal his post-presidency plans, as well. The U.S. President-Elect Joe Biden and his wife, the incoming First Lady Jill Biden, will take over the White House on January 20.
