Joe Biden and Jill Biden seemingly gear themselves up for their final days outside the White House. On New Year's Eve, they will make a "special appearance" on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve and sit down for an interview with Ryan Seacrest.

The production, alongside ABC, made the announcement on Wednesday, noting that the incoming First Couple will join the rest of the hosts and celebrity performers as the world welcomes the new year. People reported that this will serve as their last interview of the year, wherein they will bring a "special message of hope, unity and best wishes" for 2021.

The program's official social media accounts, also, released the announcement to inform the public about the Bidens' appearance. On Twitter, though, some netizens shared their criticisms about the incoming U.S. President and First Lady.

"Dementia Joe Biden and grandma [Jill Biden] should stay home like you have during the whole campaign," one Twitter user said, adding that he is not a "legitimate president" and that the whole election was a "sham." The same netizen, also, said "no thanks" to the program's invite to watch the special interview.

A different critic echoed the sentiments of other individuals, saying "You are not allowed to call him 'President-Elect' as he stole the election." Another netizen stated that the public should "keep Donald Trump anointed."

While criticisms are quite apparent, Joe Biden and Jill Biden still receive tons of praise from other Twitter users, especially fans and supporters. Earlier this month, the former Second Lady tweeted, "40 days," hinting at the number of days before the inauguration takes place next year.

Several netizens appear to have celebrated and rejoiced with the incoming First Lady, and shared their respective commendations about the couple. Some even expressed their eagerness to see the Bidens inside the White House.

"It will seem like years," one fan commented. "Make America kind again. Make America decent again. Make America smart again. Make America care again," another supporter posted, noting that 40 days could not "come quick enough."

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in on January 20. After they take their oaths, they have, then, officially assumed their offices, as well as their powers as U.S. President and Vice President, according to BBC.

Later in the day, they will relocate to their official respective residences, the White House for the incoming First Couple and the Number One Observatory Circle for the incoming Second Couple. These will be their residences for the next four years.
