Jungkook is professionally known as a singer and dancer. But as an idol, the BTS star has to do some acting to make their music videos appealing and believable to the audience.

Aside from Jin and V, the rest of the BTS boys have no acting background. But being in the industry for almost a decade, the members have honed their acting skills throughout the years.

BANGTANTV recently posted a new installment for its Bangtan Bomb episode. The video was about Jungkook shooting for one of his scenes from BTS’s “ON” music video.

The almost four-minute clip started with Jungkook getting his hair done as he contemplated the scene that he will be doing that day. The second day of the music video shoot was the scene where JK was running and going into the water.

What makes Jungkook worry at that time was the extremely cold weather. The scene only required him to wear thin clothing, so it was definitely a difficult shoot for the BTS star.

Despite his worries, Jungkook did everything he was told to do. When the director told him that he had to do one more take for his running scene, JK’s expression clearly showed that he didn’t want to do it because he was cold, but his true professionalism made him comply.

Jungkook had to go into the lake in freezing weather for the highlight scene while maintaining a straight face. The “My Time” singer did his part well, and his face didn’t show any hint that he was cold.

But after the shot was done, Jungkook instantly shivered and quickly went out of the water. It is worth noting that JK had a smile on his face and didn’t complain the whole time.

Jungkook’s feet were so cold that he had to pour hot water into his boots to get rid of the numbness. He did a couple of retakes in the water.

After the last take of the lake scene, Jungkook took his shoes off, relaxed on a chair with a warm blanket over his shoulder, and even managed to give everyone some words of wisdom.

“You need to feel the cold to understand the warm,” he said.

ARMYs have noticed how much RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have improved in the acting department, and they have begged Big Hit Entertainment to allow them to be on a K-drama. For now, V is the only member who took part in a series. The “Sweet Night” singer debuted as an actor in the 2016 Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.
