Meanwhile, Shadow also accompanied Mr. Wednesday to Betty's latest incarnation in order to see Whiskey Jack -- a mystical man. Although both of them entered a different dimension, it was Shadow who formed a connection with Whiskey Jack.
The episode ended with Shadow trying to break into his own apartment as the key broke in the lock. However, someone suddenly pointed a gun at his neck while Shadow slowly put his hands up. This massive cliffhanger will continue in this week's episode.
