RM had always maintained his class and composure despite having the difficult position of being the leader of the biggest boy group on the planet right now. BTS’s popularity has quickly skyrocketed in recent years, making the boys in-demand all around the globe.
Aside from leading his members, RM also has the task as the unofficial translator of BTS when they go abroad. Since the “Persona” rapper is the only member who understands and speaks English comfortably, especially during their earlier years, he had no choice but to translate the English question to Korean for the other boys and translate their Korean answers to English for the interviewer.
While doing his main job as the leader and sideline job as the group’s translator, RM had always stayed calm and professional. And because of that, many see him as someone who is always prim and proper. But for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, the BTS leader is just like any other regular folks who also make them feel embarrassed.
It’s no secret that RM’s passion is music. And just like any music lovers out there, the 26-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer also couldn’t contain himself from expressing his love for it.
However, his incredible love for music can be a little too much for Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook at times. JH revealed during 2016 BTS FESTA that RM has a habit of singing with his earphones in. The “Ego” rapper then re-enacted his fellow 94-liner by singing loudly.
“You guys know what I’m talking about. When he’s like (sings) with his earphones in. He just does this,” J-Hope shared, prompting the other boys, including RM, to burst out laughing.
Suga chimed in that their managers don’t drive them around when they go abroad because of RM’s habit. The “Daechwita” rapper added that he’d get embarrassed when he would ride in a car with the BTS leader, and the latter started singing.
“Then he’ll (RM) just start singing by himself, and the driver can’t tell if he’s singing or rapping, and I feel like the driver wonders why we sound like that if we’re singers. I get pretty embarrassed during those moments,” SG said.
J-Hope noted that RM would tend to make this habit when he’s producing his own songs. The BTS leader explained that he couldn’t control himself, and JH told him that “it was kind of embarrassing.”
