This Is Us season 5 episode 7 is scheduled to arrive next week on NBC, with the title "There." The previous episode focused on Randall Pearson's (Sterling K. Brown) storyline. Now, the romantic family drama shifted the plot to Justin Hartley's Kevin Pearson.
Kevin is going to be at the front and center of This Is Us season 5 episode 7. According to the synopsis, he'll be embarking on a "stressful road trip." However, there is a major concern here -- particularly a car accident -- based on what was shown in the preview.
Although nothing is confirmed that Kevin had a car accident, his ID can be seen on the ground. The car was also on fire -- hinting that whoever's behind the wheel sustained injuries. The good thing is that Hartley's character is alive in the future, so there's no need to worry about his fate.
Despite that, the accident may cause a huge impact on his life. If he's, indeed, in that car accident, he won't be able to see Madison Simons (Caitlin Thompson) giving birth. In the promo of This Is Us season 5 episode 7, Kevin's voice can be heard and it looks like he's on the phone seemingly talking to someone.
At the end of the clip, Madison's voice can also be heard telling him that he should get there -- possibly in the hospital. Yet, there is also a possibility that Kevin hit someone else, and he's responsible for why the accident happened.
If Kevin ended up hitting someone, the situation would be entirely different. He might be facing some legal troubles, which could further complicate his life. This will be one of the essential parts of his storylines, and this particular event might've changed his whole life.
Madison was about to give birth in This Is Us season 5 episode 7. In the clip, he said that his fiance is in labor right now, and he needs to get to her. Kevin is currently in Vancouver, filming a movie. He left Madison alone, and he's in panic mode when he's speaking to Randall on the phone.
Perhaps, some of the questions about Kevin and Madison in the flash-forward will be addressed here. The future saw Kevin being a father to twins. But then, there's no clear indication of whether or not he ended up with Madison in the future.
