Fans are up for a big treat as Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will not be the end of the franchise. Despite calling it the final movie, it is highly like the producers will create new content.

A lot of authors have made their own version of the Neon Genesis series. As Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is about to hit the theaters soon, there may be a new story or anything related to the title that will arrive.

Evangelion has given birth to a lot of alternate timeline stories, anime, and games. Now that the final chapter is about to drop, the producer may keep the story running.

According to Epic Dope, a new manga spinoff is coming, inspired by the movie series itself. A unique RPG game content may also come.

In fact, with the impending release of Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, Super Robot Wars, an RPG crossover game, may create new content related to the new movie. It has been known that the said game is doing new content every time a new film from the franchise drops.

As light novels, exclusive merchandise, and even food products related to the series are always a sure hit, Evangelion's story is far from over. As of late, several spinoffs are continuously dropping, from a movie to a commercial.

There are Evangelion vs. Godzilla and a smartphone commercial in China, featuring a CG rendered Evangelion, related to Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. There is also a short CGI film, titled Evangelion: Another Impact, CBR noted.

Clearly, there is a strong demand for the franchise to continue. Even if the creator, Hideaki Anno, is done with the franchise, it has a vast story that can continuously be explored.

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is the fourth installment to the movie series. Sadly, fans are on for a waiting game again as its release has been moved due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It isn't the first the film was delayed because of the global health crisis. To recall, it was supposed to be out in April 2020 but moved to a later date, which was January 23, 2021, because of the same issue.

Now that its second release date is coming, Siliconera revealed it would not push through due to Japan's current state of emergency. Anyhow, it remains to be seen when Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time will officially be out as it is still undergoing careful consideration.
