The team will continue to investigate the possible connection of the stone structure in the swamp in The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 11. The said structure is suspected to be a roadway, which could direct them to the actual location of the Money Pit.

The Lagina brothers, Rick and Marty, and their team speculated the stone structure found in the swamp may have been connected to the swamp. The fellowship has been searching for further clues over the past few episodes and their excavation continues in The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 11.

In episode 10, the team realized that the mysterious roadway may have been the major clue to locate the Money Pit. They suspected that the structure might be directing them towards the location of the valuable treasure. They also speculated that the path was used by the seafarers to unload the items.

The fellowship tried to find answers on whether or not the roadway is connected to where the Money Pit is. This prompted Alex Lagina to dive into the murky depths to uncover more clues. However, he wasn't able to find anything due to the poor visibility in the swamp.

Aside from focusing on the roadway, The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 11 will further see the team working on Erin Helton's understanding of Zena Halpern's ancient map. She gave the team coordinates, which could lead them in finding a tunnel.

But then, the Laginas and the team weren't able to proceed with the plan and asked Erin to reassess the situation. Furthermore, a mysterious serpent mound has been discovered and it is believed that it has some ties to the Knights Templar.

The current installment has shifted its focus in the Knights Templar theory, and the team's investigation of it will be further addressed in The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 11. Beyond these discoveries, the fellowship earthed other clues during the early run.

For instance, Gary Drayton previously found an old coin, which is suspected to belong to the Chinese who possibly reside on the island in the past. They also discovered an oxen trail, suggesting that heavy industrial activities occurred in the area.

The Curse of Oak Island season 8 episode 11 airs on Tuesday, Jan. 19, on History Channel.
