"Call of Duty Mobile" Season 13 is currently live, but when the first major update for this year rolls out, the mobile shooter title will revert to Season 1. Ahead of the announcement of the game's first season for this year, devs teased about a new gun coming to the game. And, while the iconic weapon might have a different name when it arrives, it should be familiar to long-time "Call of Duty" series players.

New Weapon Teased

On its official Twitter account, "Call of Duty Mobile" teases that a new weapon is coming. The tweet also asks players if they could guess what it is. Moreover, it hints about its release which is in the next season of the game. The tweet comes with an image, which shows the FAMAS.

What Is FAMAS

The FAMAS is a bullpup assault rifle featured in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2." It is also available in other "CoD" games such as "Black Ops," "Black Ops Declassified" and other titles but was not featured in "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." This assault rifle features attachments that players could use to make it more powerful.

FAMAS Attachments and Loadouts

Attachments include Grenade Launcher, Red Dot Sight, Silencer and ACOG Scope. Players can also use FMJ, Holographic Sight, Heartbeat Sensor, Thermal Scope, and Extended Magazines on this weapon. In "Call of Duty: Warzone," the FAMAS is a burst gun that could one-burst enemies from mid-range, making it an interesting change of pace among the assault rifles in the game.

It features different loadouts that could fit different players' game style. For instance, players who want to use the FAMAS for long-range combat can equip it with a Monolithic Suppressor muzzle, FR 24.4" Sniper, VLK 3.0x Optic barrel optic, Ranger Foregrip underbarrel, and Granulated Grip Tape for its rear grip.

The weapon becomes popular in "Warzone" recently because of a unique loadout called the 12-Gauge Deputy underbarrel shotgun. This loadout allows users to one-shot enemies and break their armors from long distances. Players equip the assault rifle with Monolithic Suppressor muzzle, FR 24.4" Sniper barrel, 12-Gauge Deputy underbarrel, Granulated Grip Tape rear grip, and Fully Loaded Perk.

Other Details

In the absence of additional information about the new weapon coming to Season 1 of "Call of Duty Mobile," it is safe to presume that devs might do several tweaks to the bullpup rifle when it arrives. These changes could affect the types of perks and attachments that players could use to level up the FAMAS.
