WARNING: This article contains some spoilers in the early part of The Blacklist season 8. Read at your own risk.

The Blacklist season 8 episode 5 won't be coming anytime soon on NBC. Two more episodes are scheduled to air before this particular episode comes out. The good news is that the network is sharing updates on what's coming ahead for everyone -- even though it's still a few weeks away from its release date.

The Blacklist season 8 episode 5 is, reportedly, titled "Fribourg Confidence." It will likely focus on a case-of-the-week story, something that wasn't entirely featured during the early run of the latest installment. In addition, a particular case from the past will emerge once again.

According to the synopsis of The Blacklist season 8 episode 5, the task force will be investigating and try to track down an organization of bank robbers. They were believed to have special expertise when it comes to stealing from other criminals.

At the moment, only two episodes of the crime-thriller drama aired on NBC. The stories focused on Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) and Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone) turning back on each other, leading to rivalries between the two.

Liz is determined to take Red down, especially since she witnessed how he killed her mother, Katarina Rostova (Laila Robins). It seems like this storyline may come to an end or might be properly addressed in the upcoming episodes 3 and 4.

Liz is, particularly, seeking revenge on Red in the third episode. There's already been a huge gap between the two and everything turned upside down after she saw what this man did to her mother. She will continue looking for answers and may learn some of these in the fourth episode.

Now, in The Blacklist season 8 episode 5, the show is coming back to its previous approach -- which is tackling specific cases. The focus will be shifted to the bank robbers, with the Task Force doing whatever is necessary to find the organization.

Aside from this, an old black case will resurface, as well. It's yet to be seen what this case is all about, but since it was already featured before, there is a chance that some familiar characters will show up. After all, a lot of bad guys have been taken down by the Task Force.

The Blacklist season 8 episode 5 is slated to air on Friday, Feb. 5, on NBC.
