Jungkook has one of the most beautiful voices in the K-pop world. The Golden Maknae’s incredible talent in singing earned him the position of Main Vocalist of BTS.
While Jungkook already had an amazing voice since he was a young boy, the “My Time” singer has improved his skill even more over the years. During a recent interview, the 23-year-old singer and songwriter revealed that he has a daily habit that contributed to his talent.
BTS shared some of their “tips, techniques, or tricks” for the Mini Masterclass. RM noted that it is essential to have a lot of interests.
“For me, it’s important to try as many things as possible and learn from all those experiences,” he said.
As for Jungkook, he prefers to focus more on what he already has. So instead of trying out new things to improve his vocal skills, he just kept his mouth moving.
“Singing and humming constantly — regardless of a set time — has helped me improve in my singing and find my personal color,” he shared.
This revelation is something fresh for ARMYs to hear as they know how much Jungkook loves trying out new things. He even earned the title “Golden Maknae” because he’s good at almost anything. JK would not excel in singing, dancing, painting, playing instruments, doing sports, etc. if he didn’t give them a try.
In fact, Jungkook can even turn his sweet angelic voice into something raspy and cool. During BTS’s earlier years, JK had a couple of rap lines in their songs, such as “We Are Bulletproof Pt. 2” and “No More Dream.”
BTS kicked off the New Year by performing their song “Best of Me” at Weverse’s year-end concert. Since Suga is still recovering from his shoulder surgery at the time, he wasn’t able to perform with RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
Previously, BTS didn’t assign any of the members to take Suga’s part and let his backtrack do it for him during their performances. This time, however, Jungkook took over, and ARMYs were more than happy about it.
“Jungkook doing Yoongi’s rap in ‘Best of Me’ was the highlight of 2020,” one tweeted. “Rapper Jungkook made an appearance again. He performed Yoongi’s part amazingly!” another one shared. “Rapper Jungkook is the best thing to end the year 2020,” an ARMY wrote.
