An old photo of BTS V and SHINEE's Minho hugging resurfaced and became viral on social media.

At first glance, the photo simply showed the senior idol congratulating his junior in a friendly manner, but fans of both SHINEE and BTS cracked up when they saw the bottom half of the image.

According to Koreaboo, SHINEE's Minho was laughing as he embraced his friend, but it turned out that the smile was filled with mischief because he was squeezing V's backside. The interaction was from the Golden Disc Awards in 2017.

It was one of several photos that were released of the pair who developed a friendship when they worked together on the drama Hwarang.

Meanwhile, Minho and V are both set to make their comebacks this year. Minho, who recently completed his mandatory service, will rejoin his fellow SHINEE members to release a new album this February.

According to a report by Soompi, a source from SM Entertainment confirmed that Onew, Minho, Key, and Taemin are already working on their new album. However, the source did not confirm the actual release date. This will be SHINEE's first full comeback since The Story of Light: Epilogue.

Onew, Key, and Minho all completed their mandatory service last year while Taemin still has a year before he reports for military enlistment.

BTS V is also poised to make his solo debut with his first mixtape this year.

The album will be the first from BTS' vocal line after the rap line of RM, Suga, and J-Hope all released successful solo albums. According to V, he is very excited to release his solo material. He shared that he already wrote eight songs for the project. He said he wanted to dedicate his mixtape to ARMYs.

V has been teasing snippets from the album on BTS' reality shows, adding even more hype to the much-anticipated album. The song "Blue and Grey" from BTS' recent album BE, was initially intended for V's album, but he said he was convinced by his fellow members to use it for the group album. He also released the song "Snow Flower" last Christmas. It was a collaboration with his good friend Peakboy.

In his message to fans, he talked about how 2020 brought hardships to a lot of people. He shared his wish that "Snow Flower" will bring them joy and hope so that they will feel comfort and happiness. Big Hit Entertainment has yet to release new information on V's solo mixtape, Bandwagon reported.
